Padel's pro scene has reorganised fast, and the tour names can be confusing. Here's the structure in plain terms.
Premier Padel — the top tier
Premier Padel is the leading global circuit, backed by the international federation and the players, where the very best pairs contest the biggest titles and prize money. Its top events (Majors and P1s) are the padel equivalent of tennis's biggest tournaments.
The FIP tiers below
Beneath the headline events sits a pyramid of FIP (International Padel Federation) tournaments — ranging from Major down through Gold, Silver, Bronze and Future. These are where rising pairs earn ranking points and break through, so they're a great early signal of who's improving.
